The light filtering though trees casts a dynamic shadow. It raises questions about where is the edge of nature and how we see our place in the world. An impressionistic painting of a dark car parked on a street at night with a large shadow on the pavement and trees along the sidewalk.
The largest painting I have ever done. All four edges of the panel are painted to continue the image. Acrylic on 30 x 30 inch deep cradled wood panel. Wax protective finish. May be available in October after the exhibit at Nancy Johns Gallery in Windsor, Ontario.
