Grand Canyon Morning

Award winner in the prestigious 2025 Mid Atlantic Watercolor exhibit of the Baltimore Watercolor Society.

In the morning, we took the shuttle to the end at Hermit's Rest and hiked back along the rim trail toward Grand Canyon Village. We saw amazing viewpoints of the Canyon including this one. Only a few other hikers but loved seeing a western bluebird and tassel eared squirrels. I tried to capture the range of colors and a sense of the distance of the Grand Canyon in this painting.
