In the morning, we took the shuttle to the end at Hermit's Rest and hiked back toward the Village. We saw several amazing viewpoints of the Canyon including this one. We rarely saw other hikers and loved seeing a western bluebird and unique tassel eared squirrels. I tried to capture the range of colors and a sense of the distance of the Grand Canyon in this painting. Part of my National Park series. On view at the Meeting House Gallery in Columbia until mid July.
